Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done…”

Seven words in one sentence. Often prayed, little understood.

“Thy will be done” at least means that the one praying is saying: They will follow God’s Word even if it isn’t particularly liked AND will accept whatever God places in their life even if it isn’t understood (Copied). Let that sink in. Meditate on it. Dwell for a few moments on God’s truth.

WHATEVER? Really? Everything that has taken place… IS taking place… or WILL take place in your life? Yes. Consider the Scripture… (Click on the link).

Psalm 84:11, Isaiah 46:9-10, Ephesians 1:11, Romans 8:28, Philippians 1:6 & 2:13 together mean that everything… EVERYTHING… that comes into the life of the believer originates from their God who loves them (You really should follow the links to those passages). Everything is for His glory AND the believer’s ultimate good (Which is sanctification… Christ likeness).

Thus, you (As a believer in Christ) are standing in God’s will. What is happening in your life… the way it is taking place… how it comes about… is all in the loving hands of God. The only part Satan plays in anything evil is on to the extent that God is USING HIM as a pawn to accomplish His will!

As one of my favorite preachers has said, “Just because we don’t see how something CAN be good doesn’t mean it ISN’T good!”

Praise be to God in all things.
