I was talking with my new friend Mateo Melendez who is a Youth Minister, and he told me about questions he discussed with some students to whom he ministers.  Ask them of yourself and see if you are as convicted as I was… (I may not get these exactly right, but I think I’m close).  You might even want to take these questions and ask them in Sunday School… if you are brave.

Would you be willing for one week to ask God to give you only what you needed to sustain life, and bless others with the blessings He would have given to you?  What do you think would happen?

What would happen if you made that reqeuest of God for forty days instead of one week?

What would happen if you agreed with nine other believers to make that request of God for one week, then for forty days?

What would happen if a whole congregation agreed to make that request of God for one week, then for forty days?

What would happen if that became your prayer for the rest of your life?

What would happen if Christians made that their prayer for the rest of their life?

So I pose those questions to you… what would happen?
