American Embassies have been attacked.  An American Ambassador and other staff have been killed.  Iran is getting closer to nuclear capability.  Arab states vow to destory Israel and America.  A Kinesset official said yesterday…

A top Israeli Arab Knesset official warned of “Armageddon” if the United Nations does not intervene.  “If the U.N. does not mobilize to stop this erosion, it will be Armageddon,” MK Talab el-Sana told the Israeli paper.

Now a word for consideration and perspective (Some are before your time)…

In 1967 the Six Day War in the Middle East had Christians screaming that Armageddon was next and Jesus was about to return.

In 1973 the Yom Kippur War in the Middle East had Christians screaming that Armageddon was next and Jesus was about to return.

The same was tauted when Iran fired missles into Israel during the First Gulf War.

The same happened again after the attacks of 9/11/2001.

And it will happen every time the Middle East has a conflict or war.

And one day… eventually… sooner rather than later Jesus WILL return!

HOWEVER, please keep in mind what Jesus said… and has been true for over 2,000 years.  It is found beginning in Matthew 24:3…

24:3 The disciples came to him privately. “Tell us,” they said, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”

4 Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray.  5 For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray.  6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.  7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places.  8 All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.

9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

26 If anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the desert,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 30 “At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. 31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
