resntGod gave us His Word to 1) Glorify Himself, 2) Help us.  Either we believe and trust God without any reservation or hesitation or we don’t.  If we don’t believe and live out God’s Word the result is anger, hostility, bitterness, and a vengeful attitude.  Now consider:

Hebrews 4:15 We do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. 16  Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Either those passages are true, or they aren’t.  If they are true, then I want to live and experience God through them as much as God will allow.  If they aren’t true… then chunk the whole Bible, The Christian Faith, Jesus, God, and just live for the moment filled with as much fun as possible.

Point is this, God has given His eternal truth through those two passage (And the rest of the Word).  Therefore it is each believer’s call to… 1) Believe God, 2) Live out His Truth, 3) Trust God with the outcome.

So now… today… you have a choice.  You can either be like the world in dealing with life OR you can walk according to the Spirit so you will not carry out the desires of the flesh.  You can be angry, resentful, mad, bitter, and vindictive OR you can love, forgive, trust God, and be joyful.  After all it was Jesus who said, “I have come that they (Believers) may have life and have it abundantly!”
