office_bully1Now the complete post title: How to handle a bully as God would have you to. This is for when someone is bullying you. Granted, the Scripture is contrary to the world’s wisdom of how to handle them. AND it is a different set of circumstances when someone who can’t defend themselves is being bullied. That is for another post. But now for how YOU should respond to those who bully you…

Ro 12:18 “If possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. 20 “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” 21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Mt 5:39 Do not resist the one who is evil. But if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. 40 And if anyone would sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. 41 And if anyone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles.

Mt 5:44 Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven.

Ro 12:19 Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.

Question from Romans 12:19… Do we trust God to do what He says He will do? Many times I have seen bullies get their own without me having to do anything that fits perfectly with the Scripture.
