okThe title of this post is 100% true… but not in this world. Things will never be as good, right, or perfect as we’d like them to be… in this life. There will be days of joy and happiness, but they will be fleeting. I could go Joel Osteen and lie to make you feel better, OR I can tell you the truth so you can put on the armor of God and stand in the time of trouble. Consider the Scripture…

They will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. (Mt 24:9-10)

I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” (Jn 16:33)

Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted… (2 Tim 3:12)

Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad when his glory is revealed. If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. (1 Peter 4:12-14)

The way to process hardship is to remember the three things God is always doing:

1. Glorifying His name,

2. Conforming the believer to Christ’s image,

3. Laying up treasures in heaven to enjoy forever.
