It is written in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

This promise was given to the Hebrews at the beginning of their 70 years of  captivity… to remain faithful.  Don’t miss that!  Just because we are struggling at the moment, does not mean God has left or abandoned us or that things won’t get better in the future.  Faithfulness only honors God when it is through every kind of circumstance.  Now consider a few more thoughts…

God’s plans are known plans.  WE don’t know God’s plans, but He does.  They are in place and hidden in Him.  God knows exactly what He is doing.

God’s plans are eternal plans.  There has never been a time when God wasn’t thinking of them.  His thoughts are more ancient than the pyramids… the Himalayas… Saturn… or the universe.  His plans are eternal!

God’s plans are continual plans.  The actual translation is, “I know the plans I am planning for you.”  In other words God is ALWAYS thinking about us.  He cares and loves so much His children are always on His mind.

God’s plans are settled plans.  God’s plans never ever change like ours do.  God’s mind is made up about what HE wills for us… and it is perfect… because HE is perfect.

God’s plans for His children are… Known plans, Eternal plans, Continual plans, and Settled plans.  That means they are complete… sufficient… right… loving… and perfect.  The result is that we can de-stress.  We can rest.  We are calm… free from worry and anxiety.  AND we have joy in Him!
