Paul wrote while in Prison, “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I say rejoice!” (Philippians 4:4). Here are a few reasons we can “rejoice in the Lord always.”

1. Jesus blood has cleansed us from all sin. 2. Our names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. 3. Jesus is coming back. 4. One day soon Jesus will make everthing right. 5. Satan has no power over us. 6. We will reign with Christ forever. 7. Death has been defeated by Jesus. 8. There is a crown of glory waiting on us in heaven. 9. God loves us. 10. Nothing can seperate us from the love of God. 11. It is impossible for us to lose our salvaiton. 12. The Holy Spirit empowers us. 13. Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world. 14. God has promised never to leave or forsake us. And I could go on with many more… but instead you continue with your own list.

This is Fernando Ortega sining one of my favorite songs, “Give Me Jesus.” He sings it as a tribute to Ruth Bell Graham. May the words be our heart’s desire.
