Psalm 90:14 Satisfy us in the morning with Your steadfast love, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

Psalm 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor.  No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly.

What is it that satisfies us… that gives us hope… that brings us joy… that sustains in weakness… that puts gas in our engine?  It is the sure knowledge that God loves us.  Regardless of anything else in heaven or earth, nothing can change God’s love for His children… NOTHING.  The single most satisfying thing in life is not family… job… career… success… degrees… or power… it is a sure knowledge of God’s love!

SINCE God’s love is absolute, complete, and perfect… then “No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly” (Read, “Who are in Christ”).  The question now is, “Do we believe God?”

My answer to that question is YES… I DO believe God in Ps 84:11b!  That means if something happens to me… whatever it is, regardless of what it is… it wouldn’t be allowed by God unless it is somehow good!

Just because we see how something can be good doesn’t mean it isn’t good.

I don’t have to understand, I just have to trust that God knows what He is doing and that He is in the process of: 1) Glorifying Himself, 2) Conforming me to Christ’s image, 3) Blessings me with good things.

So I am seeking to wake each morning with Psalm 90:14 and 84:11 in my mind.  I want them to dominate my thoughts throughout the day.  I want every event to be filtered through those truths.  I want to glorify in God as things transpire knowing my Father loves me… no matter what.

And I want those things for those I love: 1) My family, 2) My friends, 3) The people I minister to, 4) All people.
