You’ve been praying for a long time now.  You’ve been wondering when God will act.  It seems like all is falling apart around you… nothing is making sense… the enemy is winning and all hope is almost lost.  You don’t see the end and you’re beginning to wonder if God is hearing your prayers.

Consider the following…

Ps 25:3 Indeed, none who wait for You shall be put to shame; 5 Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; for You I wait all the day long.

Ps 27:14  Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!

Ps 31:24 Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord!

Ps 37:7  Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!

Ps 37:9 For the evildoers shall be cut off, but those who wait for the Lord shall inherit the land.

Is 26:8 In the path of your judgments, O Lord, we wait for You; Your name and remembrance are the desire of our soul.

Lam 3:25 The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. 26  It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.

Mic 7:7 But as for me, I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.

1 Peter 5:6  Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time He may exalt you, 7  casting all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. 10 And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

Wait and trust God.  Proverbs 3:5, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own undestanding…”
