This is a hard post for me to add. It is about a mom and dad who were told that their baby had genetic abnormalities and would not live long after birth. They were told that abortion was an option… but praise be to God, the chose to give their son life and love… even if it were only for a few hours. I found this on Denny Burk’s blog…

I had a brother… with genetic abnormalities… who went to be with Jesus after living just a few hours. I am so thankful that Thomas’ mom and dad chose to give him love and will one day see him again.
The value of life is not measured in length of time on earth… nor in quality as defined by us. Life’s worth is measured in terms that each child bears the imgage of God and therefore has infinite value.
