The contestant picks one briefcase out of 26. There is a 1 in 26 chance that the case chosen has $1,000,000.00. Then the other cases are opened to reveal how much money was in them that wasn’t picked. Depending on which cases are not chosen and how much money was in them, an offer is made to trade in the case chosen for a sure thing. Deal or No Deal?
1 Corinthians 3:12-15
As long as the big money case hasn’t been opened, the offer keeps going up to trade in a sure thing for the unknown. What do you do? There are three cases. One has $1,000,000.00, one has $250,000.00, and one has $50.00. You are offered $139,000.00 for your case. Deal or No Deal? What do you do? What if your case has $50.00 and you don’t take the deal? What if your case has $1,000,000.00 and you take the deal? Deal or No Deal?
There is a cosmic Deal or No Deal for every believer. The only difference is that we know what is in our case… we just can’t see it. We also know what is in the other “cases,” and we can see those too. What is in our case is a crown and eternal rewards… greater than anything earth can offer. What is in the case we see now are cars, clothes, houses, our retirement, vacations, gold, jewelry, earthly security. Deal or No Deal?
Now the options. The eternal case reward can be increased exponentially! But to increase the amount in the eternal reward case, we have to let go of what we have now. Deal or No Deal? Another option is to keep what you have now and what you receive from God will decrease. Deal or No Deal? 1 Corinthians 3:15…

It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man’s work. 14 If what he has built survives, he will receive his reward. 15 If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.” (NIV)
