Sunday the Super Bowl will be played (God willing). This interview with New Orleans Saints quarterback, Drew Brees, may give some insight into the character of at least one of the players on the field.

Well done! Thanks for sharing, I thought Drew was a Christian. This will add to an already interesting game.

Wow!! I think I just became a New Orleans Saints fan. God is awesome!!
What an incredible testimony! A man’s man who shares how much God means to him and has done for him.
Amen!
Well Done My Brother In Christ.
Go Saints!
Congrats to the Saints. Drew says it was “Gods Master Plan” – yikes God intentionally flooded New Orleans to brink of annihilation?
yes He did. God’s in control of life. If He chooses to flood New Orleans, He does. He’s sovereign! It may be an ugly truth, but it is true. God flooded the whole world and left only Noah and his family, too.`
What’s interesting is that so many people who say, “everything happens for a reason,” usually claim the Bible is their primary authority in faith and life. And yet it seems that they ignore all the passages in the Bible which clearly say that God is not the only force at work in this world. Evil plays a major role especially in the New Testament where Jesus faces evil time and again. He ultimately overcomes, every time, but the force of evil is real. Unless you ignore those passages, then you cannot say for sure that “God flooded New Orleans” or sent tornadoes to Kansas or tidal waves to Indonesia. The bottom line is that evil, sin and suffering are real and they affect people’s lives every day. So please stop blaming all the bad things that happen on the God of the Bible, because it is simply not biblical nor theological, and thus is simply not truth.
Thank you for your comment Eddie. First of all I don’t understand why you would say I blame God for natural disasters. That is not the case at all. We live in a broken sinful world where the effects of sin reach to every element of the universe. Then I’m sure you’re aware of the passage in Eph 6 where it is written we wrestle against evil forces. I don’t blame God for “all the bad things that happen.” I am confident that there are times God brings hard things into our lives in order to draw us to His side.
Now if you don’t mind I’d like to ask you to consider something. Satan is God’s pawn to accomplish His (God’s) perfect will and design for the world. That was certainly the case with Job because the evil Satan brought into Job’s life were completely under God’s control (Read chapters 1 and 2). That was also the case with Judas who betrayed Christ (Mt 26:21-25 and Jn 13:21-27). And it is also the case of David counting men of fighting age in 2 Sam 24:1-9 with 1 Chron 21:1-8. The evil forces at work in this world are completely under the control and will of God. Neither Satan nor his demons can do anything apart from the allowance of God!
And by the way… everything DOES happen for a reason. The reason is to ultimately glorify God. Blessings…
