I am not a fatalist, but I do believe in providence. Specifically, God’s providence.
Fatalism is: Whatever is going to happen is going to happen and nothing can be done about it.
Providence is different. Providence means that whatever happens is because God has a plan and purpose behind it! His plan in providence is 1) His glory, and 2) The Christian’s ultimate good.
I’m not a fatalist, but I do believe in God’s providence!
