Korea is firing missiles and setting off nuclear explosions. The economy is pretty much a wreck. Iran’s president keeps threatening to wipe Israel off the map. Overall morals are in the tank world wide. You have to wonder what is going on.
For fifty some odd years the good old USA has had a pretty good run. Economic expansion… population growth… we’ve been relatively safe from invading armies… we’ve had decent health with medical advances… and we’re The world power (At least for now).
Yet what is the spiritual climate in America? Have we praised and honored God for all His blessings? Well we took prayer out of school… legalized abortion on demand… are in the process of normalizing homosexual marriage… and greed drives the decisions of most people. Not only that, orthodox Christianity isn’t the defacto faith any longer. I suggest those things are pretty much a slap in the face of the God who blessed us.
With all that said, I wonder if what God warned Israel about is coming down the pike for us…
