Question… What does God know and when does He know it?
God knows everything.
God knows everything before it happens.
God knows what would have happened… if what happened… hadn’t happened.
God knows everything that could have happened… if what didn’t happen… had happened.
God knows everything without exception.
God knows all possible contingencies.
But God doesn’t know anything contingently! In other words, God’s knowledge is not based on looking into the future to see what will happen and then gaining knoweldge based on what He saw that would take place in the future. If God gained knowledge by looking into the future, then that means He is not omnisicient. If God is not omnisicient, then He is not God. Therefore God must know all things!
Romans 11:33 Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and how inscrutable His ways! 34 “For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been His counselor?” 35 “Or who has given a gift to Him that He might be repaid?” 36 For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be glory forever. Amen.
Truely Jehovah God alone is worthy of praise… worship… honor… and glory!
