I heard a preacher say one time, “You are in one of three situations… 1) About to have some kind of difficulty… 2) IN difficulty… or 3) Coming out of difficulty.”  With that being the case, consider the following.

What can God do?  Whatever He wants.  Why?  Because He is God.  Note: That applies to whatever situation you are ever in!

Gen 18:14 Is anything too hard for the Lord? (The answer is NO!)

Jer 32:17 Ah, Lord God! It is you who has made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm!  Nothing is too hard for you.

Jer 32:27 Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is anything too hard for me?

Mt 19:26 With God all things are possible.

Lk 1:37 For nothing will be impossible with God.

Eph 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do exceeding and abundantly above all that we ask or imagine, according to the power at work within us, 21 to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Application: God knows what you can handle and what you can’t handle.  He knows what is best for you and what is not.  He determines what Satan can and cannot do in your life and to you.  He decides what you will go through and what He will not allow into your life (1 Cor 10:13).

Whatever we are and whatever we have and whatever happens is in God’s hand.  God can, and does do the following…

Kills and gives life… makes poor and rich… tears down and lifts up… betows favor on one and not another (1 Sam 2:6-8).

To whoever He chooses, He gives whatever He decides (Jer 27:4),

He has the right and power to give and take away (Job 1:20-22),

He controls the weather… He makes kings (rulers) and deposes them… and gives kingdoms to His people (Ps 135:7-12)

He possess all wisdom and knowledge… He changes the seasons… He gave wisdom to anyone who has it… He revealed whatever knowledge any man has… He knows all secrets (Dan 2:20-23),

He decides who is to rule over nations and kingdoms (Dan 4:17).
