Who has hurt you or wounded you? A Deacon(s)? An opinion leader at a church? Boss? Ex-spouse? Church staff member? Who…?

Phil 3:13 One thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

At some point, regardless of the depth of the hurt, you have to let it go. Some people will NOT apologize… sometimes because they don’t know or realize they have wounded you. So you will need to let it go… get over it… quit reminding yourself of it… just drop it… CHOOSE to forgive them no matter what they’ve done. And then do something else specific…

Press on! Press on to forgive them as you’ve been forgiven. Press on to be merciful as God has shown you mercy. Press on to love your enemies as Jesus did. Press on to be holy for your God is holy. Press on to be more like Jesus, for that is God’s will for you.

Ever so often those who’ve wounded you will pop into your mind, that is just a chance to remind Satan that you’ve been forgiven and therefore you WILL continue to forgive also.
