Either God is true, or He’s not. Either Jesus spoke the truth, or He lied. Either Christians always have hope, or they’re the worst of all people on earth. Since God IS true AND Jesus spoke the truth, the following is the source of the Christian’s joy. Now consider the following…
Our name is in the Book of Life (Rev 13:8),
We have no fear of judgment (1 Jn 4:18),
God is on our side (Ro 8:31)
Jesus and the Holy Spirit pray for us (Jn 17:9; Ro 8:27, 34)
Death is the best thing so as to be with Jesus (Phil 1:21),
AND… Since Jesus prayed… “Sanctify (Believers) in truth, Your Word is truth…”
Jn 10:10 (Jesus said) I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
Ja 1:2 Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, 3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. 4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
Col 1:11 May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, 12 giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.
Gal 5:22 The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy…
2 Cor 6:10 (Christians are) sorrowful, yet always rejoicing…
Ro 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
Ro 14:17 The kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
Col 3:3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
Soo… REGARDLESS of the situation or circumstance… when we believe God… Christians have JOY in every and all situations, without exception. To do otherwise is to ignore God, His Son, and The Holy Spirit who saved us. REJOICE!
