A friend told me of a problem just now and this post is to encourage them that there is hope in God through Christ. Nothing is better or stronger than the God of Scripture! Meditate on His truths long into the night and be encouraged.
Dear friend, I know you worry and grieve right now… but hope in God! He is good. He is doing a good thing though you may not see it… yet. Be patient. Trust Him. Believe Him. He is always faithful. Read what follows slowly. Think over what He wrote and believe. Place your faith totally in Him (Heb 11:6!).
Ro 15:4 Through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.
Ps 42:5 Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation 6 and my God.
Ps 62:5 For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from Him. 6 He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken. 7 On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God. 8 Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.
Ps 130:7 Hope in the Lord! For with the Lord there is steadfast love, and with Him is plentiful redemption.
Jer 29:11 Know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for wholeness and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Ro 5:2 We rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.
Ro 12:12 Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
2 Cor 1:10 On Him we have set our hope that He will deliver us again.
