God-is..23For meditation…

By this we shall know that we are of the truth and reassure our heart before him; for whenever our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and he knows everything. Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God… (1 John 3:19-21)

Ever so often we need to assure our heart. Uncertainty… past failure… waiting… and the unknown can challenge being and staying joyful in Christ. Thus the reason there are so many scripture passages dealing with future hope. God does not abandon anyone, and he knows everything about them. All their faults, failures, mistakes, weaknesses, fears, and sin. Read slowly and meditate

Colossians 3:1 If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. 3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

Proverbs 23:4 Do not toil to acquire wealth; be discerning enough to desist. 5 When your eyes light on it, it is gone, for suddenly it sprouts wings, flying like an eagle toward heaven.

Romans 8:6 To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.

1 John 2:15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. 17 The world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.
