A couple of years ago I heard in a message that the writer of the novel “Interview With A Vampire” had become a Christian.  I thought that interesting and next time the movie came on TV, I watched it to see if I could find any allusions to faith.  I don’t recommend watching the movie to anyone… however I do recommend watching this video of Anne Rice describing herself as a “Christ haunted atheist” who returned to her faith. 

Ms. Rice shares her story for the “I Am Second” campaign. When she was a young woman, her faith gave way to existentialist philosophy, and she became what she calls a “Christ-haunted atheist.” Her apostasy lasted for 38 years before she returned to the faith of her youth.
