We walk through life blind. We are clueless what the next second holds. We are as blind about the future as Helen Keller was her entire adult life. We walk day to day with a red tipped cane in front of us so to speak.
We will NEVER figure out… or know anything whatsoever… about the future. We will never know what will happen two seconds in the future. We’ll never know what the next phone call or letter we open will bring into our life.
We might as well quit worrying so much about tomorrow because there is not thing one we can do about it! We don’t need to worry about tomorrow because GOD has it in His hands! Since God feeds birds that are nothing compared to us… since God made beautiful flowers that die quickly… won’t God do much more than that for us who are worth far more to Him than them?! OF COURSE HE WILL!!
So why doubt? Why worry? Why be anxious? Why fret? Why have sleepless nights? Why get all worked up? Why lose our appetites over what is completely out of our control BUT in the hands of God?!
Doubt… worry… anxiety… fretting… sleepless nights… and getting worked up emotionally is simply this: A lack of faith in God!
Remember what is written in 2 Corinthians 5:7, “We walk (live) by faith, not by sight.” THAT pleases God… it makes Him smile when we live that way. I know because of Hebrews 11:6.
