Consider:

1) People don’t think or talk about you near as much as you think they do.

2) When they do talk about you, their evaluation is biased, woefully lacking, and pitifully inaccurate.

3) Bottom line, what people think or say about you doesn’t make a hill of beans difference.

Number 3 is most important because it is written in Scripture…

1 Cor 4:3 With me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by any human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself. 4 I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Lord who judges me. 5 Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God.

Ro 8:31 If God is for us, who can be against us?

Ps 27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Ps 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. 2 Therefore we will not fear

1 John 4:4 Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
