Wondering.jpgI don’t know how many read this… but for those who do/have read you may have noticed I haven’t blogged much over the last several weeks.  There are several reasons, some you might can identify with.  Anyway… here we go…

  1. If a person isn’t careful, blogging can become addictive and run your life at times.

  2. If a person is careful, blogging can become addictive and run your life at times.

  3. There are many things much more important than writing a blog… like spending time with God, friends, and family.

  4. There are many things much more important than spending the time it takes to write a blog (Like watching football or reading a good book {The Good Book}).

  5. I’m not sure that blogging is anything more than a “Here’s my opinion…” and we know what people say about opinions.

  6. I’ve preached that you can know what your idols are by what you think about when you have nothing else to think about (At one time my blog dominated too much of my brain’s “down time.”).  This one is the most important for me…

  7. If I have a choice to make about whether to blog… make a visit… read a book… pray… or work on a message… guess which one is going to lose out from now on?  Answer: Blogging.

  8. Some of the people in the church I pastor aren’t into reading blogs… and they are my 3rd priority.

  9. My first priority is my relationship to God through Jesus… my second priority is my family… the church is third.  If blogging messes up that order, I have to reboot.

That’s pretty much it and why.
