Americans are great at demanding their rights. There are patient’s rights in hospitals, civil rights in our country, not to mention the rights students have at school and those of employees where they work. It seems that everyone’s rights are championed, discussed, talked about, and litigated… except for one. The One that really matters. I am very much aware that what you are about to read will not be popular… but that’s okay… it’s Biblical.
Aside: You won’t hear this discussed by Joel Osteen, Kenneth Copeland, Creflo Dollar, or any of the Prosperity “Gospel” preachers.
Consider God’s right(s): He can do anything He wants to at any time He decides to do it with anyone He chooses and no one can question Him or require of Him an answer. Not only that, everything He does… regardless of what it is… is good, perfect, and right for the simple reason that He is God. Now, before specific examples are set forth, consider the Scripture…

Whatever God wills, plans, or desires… He does… and is no less God, no less worthy of worship, no less good… merciful… or loving.
As God He has the right to…
Give life or take it away. Bless or curse. Build up or tear down. Answer or ignore our prayers. Heal or inflict.
In short… WHATEVER God wills to do He has the right to do and NO ONE can question Him about what He does or His motives for doing them because they are ALWAYS Holy… righteous… good… and loving.
Just something I thought worth reminding us all of given we serve a good and loving God.
