Clock Reverse 1.jpg  This post isn’t meant to be morbid… but comically serious.  Stay with me for just a little bit.

There is a website that can humorously suggest how much time you have left till you pass from this life and into eternity.  All you have to do is enter your birthdate, height, weight, and BMI.

If you want to check it out, click here.  Come back and finish reading this post after you find out when your “day” is.  I used a picture of a reverse clock to the left to symbolize the countdown to my… uh… I don’t want to write it!

According to this website (Which doesn’t take in to account God’s time schedule), my last day on earth is supposed to be Saturday February 12th, 2033.  That means I have approximately 26 years left on earth.  I will supposedly breathe my last breath when I am 73 years old.

There is a lot in the Bible encouraging us to make the most of the time we have left on earth because God has already set the day we will die (Psalm 139:16).  What is written in Psalm 90:12 encourages us to live wisely because the days we have on earth are numbered.  We also read that it is appointed unto man once to die and after that we face God (Hebrews 9:27).

There is only one problem… we don’t have a clue how many days we have left until our time is up!  Some live on this earth 7 hours… 7 days… 7 months… 7 years… or 7 decades.  Which it is for us is totally and entirely in God’s hands.

Regardless of how much time I have left, I should make the most of it… as Paul wrote in Colossians 4:5, “Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the best use of the time.” (ESV)  And the same is true for all of us!  We need to take advantage of every second to live for God… love all people… and Glorify The Lord!

How many years do you have left according to the clock on the website?  Here’s a better question… are you making the most of the time you DO have… each day as you live?  I hope so!
