Life is a journey. The Christian’s life is a journey of the revelation of God.
Presently here’s where I am: Walking the path before me, in twilight (Not the movie!)… with ear muffs and sun glasses on… using a red tipped cane.
That does NOT mean I am anxious, fearful, or worried. It’s just where I am. Actually… I’m feeling quite safe and secure right now. Even with a number of things in my life and family totally up in the air, I can honestly say my anxiety level on a scale of 1 to 10 is a 3 or 4 (With ten being totally out of control).
Have you ever been there? Have you ever been at a place where you cannot only not see around the bend, but you can’t see the road in front of you? Have you been at a place in your life where you don’t have the slightest clue what is next? Have you ever felt like a juggler trying to keep 6 balls in the air… walking a less than tight rope… blindfolded? And in spite of the situation you’re in, you are inexplicably at ease and calm?
Well… for whatever reason… that’s where I am and how I feel. Maybe you’ve been there (If so… any wisdom you have would be appreciated). Maybe you are there now just like me (If so… any wisdom you have would be appreciated). Maybe you’ve never been there (If that’s the case… well…).
Periodically I may write of my random musings on walking this path. If I stumble… I’ll tell you. If I fall… I may not tell you. If I find something helpful, I will let you know.
Been there a couple of times. My earthly existence a total question mark even in the midst of a closeness to God. I always knew He was with me but had no idea where I was going. I still question sometimes the specifics of where I am going but the fog is thinner now and I have a greater confidence in who I and and ‘whose’ I am. Just keep the cane in front of you and use trust ears (spiritual) instead of your eyes. My inclination is He is preparing you for something…
Blessings!
Thanks Searching. Prov 3… “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and DO NOT LEAN ON YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING.” But it’s still not the easiest thing in the world to do sometimes…
Blessings!
