be-stillThese have been my meditations the last few days. Be encouraged, Hope In Jehovah God!

(Ps 16:7-10) I bless the Lord who gives me counsel; in the night also my heart instructs me. I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure. For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol, or let your holy one see corruption.

(Ps 31:24) Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord!

(Ps 33:18-19) Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love, that he may deliver their soul from death and keep them alive in famine.

(Ps 39:7) “And now, O Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in you.”

(Ps 43:5) Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.

(Ps 71:14) But I will hope continually and will praise you yet more and more.

(Ps 119:74-75) Those who fear you shall see me and rejoice, because I have hoped in your word. I know, O Lord, that your rules are righteous, and that in faithfulness you have afflicted me.

(Ps 146:5) Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God,

(Jer 17:7-8) “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.”

(Lam 3:24-26) “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.” The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.
